MINUTES OF TOWN OF COON BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING
AUGUST 12, 2008
The Town of Coon Board of Supervisors met at the Coon Town Hall on August 12, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Orlan Bakkum, chairman; Craig Storm and Leon Minor, supervisors; Janice L Ihle, treasurer; Lorraine Bakkestuen, clerk and Dale Haugrud, patrolman.
Orlan Bakkum, chairman opened the meeting.
Motion made by Leon and seconded by Craig to approve the minutes of the previous regular board meeting. All aye. Motion carried.

Motion by Craig, seconded by Leon to accept the treasuer`s report. All aye. Motion carried.
Motion made by Leon, seconded by Craig to pay all claims except Scott Construction bill for sealcoating. All Aye. Motion carried.
No change on sand and salt report.
Two fire calls had been received for car accidents
Building permits had been issued to Curt Hess and Grant Stromstad.
Orlan reported that they were working on the building process for the fire station in Coon Valley.
Nothing further had been done on Smarth Growth. Town of Coon had not received approval on the Comprehensive Plan submitted.
Clerk to send Joel Olstad a non-compliance letter on zoning ordinance.
Dispute on Rudie and Johnson property lines had not been resolved.
Most of the storm damages had been repaired except by Moilien`s.
Orlan and Leon had been to FEMA meeting. Forms would have to be filled out for each road damaged.
The next regular Town of Coon Board of Supervisors will be held on September 9,2008 at 7:30 p.m.
A discussion was held on the next budget: Less money will be needed for repayment of loans. It was brought up that a equipment fund should be set up.
Moved by Craig, seconded by Leon to adjourn the meeting. All aye. Motion carried.
